What's New in FlyPower
Update: July 25th
We are getting ready to finalize our reseller's so anyone still interested in becoming an exclusive FlyPower Reseller, let us know. It's a great home based business where you can have some fun at the same time.
Also, for all of you college students out there. We have a Very Special reseller program aimed just at you. Want to earn some extra Cash $$$ and be the only person on campus selling FlyPower products? This is a unique opportunity, so drop us a line and we'll send you out the details.
Also, check out the Products page. We have added a photo of the Ant Bracelet which will be available this month, as well as descriptions of the FlyPower Tee Shirts and Baseball caps.
Also, Updates on the FlyPower decals. We changed the design arround a little so both the Official Member Decal and the Text Logo are all on one strip, but each can be pealed away seperately. So now you get two for one. In addition, If you buy one of the FlyPower Kits or Ant Bracelets, we'll send along a decal at half price ( 75c ). What a Deal !
The Secure SSL connection for Credit Card transactions is working flawlessly. Now all you paranoid people out there don't have to worry about sending credit card info over the wire. Sleep tight.
Want to Chat ? We have added a chat room for FlyPower that will have regular meetings on Thursdays at 8:00PM (EDT US) for those of you who are interested. Feel free to use the room whenever you like, set up special meetings for your clubs, .... whatever. Details are available at Fly Chat.
We have reorganized the menu somewhat and added several pages: FlyPower Links, Member Services, Historical FlyPower, Fly Facts and FlyChat.
FlyPower Links was added at the request of many viewers. It will be a compilation of the funny and unusual on the web, along with anything else we happen to like. You are invited to submit a link for consideration, and if we like it, we'll post it to this page. Please submit only the URL.
Member Services: A new interactive registration and search form for adding, modifying searching and deleting your membership and FlyPower club listings is now up and running. Become a member and / or start your own Flypower Club.
Historical FlyPower traces some of the hidden facts concerning Fly Powered aircraft. As more of our research is confirmed we will expand this section to eventually become a complete repository for everything known concerning fly aviation. You are welcome to contribute.
Fly Facts are just that. little known information on the behavior and characteristics of our "engines". Again we encourage anyone with additional factual content to contact us and we will include your documented material on this page.
The June 97 winner of our Hate Mail has been posted. Congratulations to the winner. We'll be sending out our donation in his name to the World Wildlife Federation shortly.
Some of the projects in the works are a FlyPower Design Contest and FlyPower World Records,a brief description of each follows.
New Pages in the works.
World Records: As fate would have it, we are starting to compile a database of FlyPower achievements and all the known World Records involving Fly Powered aircraft. Some claims have yet to be cooberated, but we will attempt to present all of the major records as they come in, including the longest flight for distance, the longest flight time, airspeed records and more.
Please understand that it takes time to confirm these feats. We aren't talking about UFO's here. We need solid proof and visual confirmation before we post any World FlyPower record. As such, we appreciate for patience.
FlyPower Contests: We are working on the rules and particulars for these and home to have them finished shortly. Most are based on your ideas, so let us know if you have any thoughts for either contests or prizes.
